Skippy
Taz
These two boys were turned into rescue by a very nice couple who only had them a short time. They acquired them from a "backyard breeder" in Jonesboro/Hodge area of Louisiana. One of these puppies has a very severe case of LCP( legs cathes perthes disease) and required surgery to relieve him of all the pain that he was in with this deformed hip. Both boys were covered in mange mites and under weight. They responded well to their treatments and put on weight. They are both very loving and gentle with children and adults, they were just starving for attention from the right person or family. Today that day happened and they found their new home.
I normally don't like placing dogs or puppies around Christmas time. But today was a different story and we did just that. This wonderful couple had two schip males who were littermates, both are now deceased from diabetes and related health issues. They had applied for a SCA rescue dog. When they found out about the two rescue boys that I had, and that they were littermates they were thrilled with anticipation and hope that they could adopt one or both of them.
We corresponded with them and sent them photos of the boys and told them the history that we knew, and they decided to take them both in. Upon meeting Skippy and Taz, there was love at first sight for both the dogs and the new owners Kevin and Pat. Kisses were everywhere.
I want to Wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year, that is full of hope and strength to overcome all obstacles and to thank everyone that contributes to rescue that gave Skippy and Taz a second chance and wonderful new life full of love with a bright future! Merry Christmas Skippy and Taz.
Merry Christmas to Everyone! May God continue to bless us all!
