Heart-Throbs Policy

Heart-Throbs will not use any dog or bitch found to be a carrier of MPSIIIB in our

breeding program. We believe that there are a number of quality dogs, that are not

carriers of this dreaded disease that can be used.

However, if you have a bitch that is MPSIIIB positive and you are interested in using a

clear Heart-Throb's dog  the following will apply, no litter application

will be issued until all of the puppies have been microchipped or tatooed and tested.

Any puppies found to be a carrier must be spayed or neutered and placed into a pet

home with limited registration.

All females will need a current brucellosis, vaginal cultures and smears.

This can be done by your vet or ours. We highly recommend that all breeding

animals are tested for thyroid, Cerf and hips, patella, heart, LCP etc...

If you are interested in purchasing a Heart-Throbs puppy, we do require

3 letters of reference, a secure fenced yard is highly recommended, and a sales

contract signed by both parties stating that if for any reason you should have to part

with your dog  we have the first option to purchase the dog back from you or to find a

home for the dog.  We guarantee our dogs to be free of any life threatening diseases

including epilepsy and will replace the dog if such an event does occur after evaluation

by our vet. Any puppies sold as a pet  under the age of 6 months (too young to have

been spayed or neutered before leaving us) will have registration papers withheld until

proper notice has been received by us at Heart-Throbs, from the vet who performed

the surgery, that the dog has been de-sexed.
